REMINDER ABOUT EARLY RELEASE DAY TOMORROW: Weatherford Public Schools will have an early release TOMORROW, Thursday, March 7. Buses will start routes at 2:00 PM, approximately one hour earlier than usual. This adjustment will allow WPS staff to attend the State Basketball Tournament and cheer on our Weatherford Eagle basketball team. Additionally, we would like to remind you that there will be no school on Friday, March 8th, as per the school calendar. WEDNESDAY - ON BEYOND ZEBRA DAY: Wear animal print or a shirt with an animal on it! THURSDAY - GREEN EGGS AND HAM DAY: Wear GREEN! FRIDAY - HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR SEUSS!!

REMINDER: Burcham's Class Group Pictures are TOMORROW. If you plan to order a picture, please send your money to school by tomorrow. Class Pictures are $12 each.

If you ride bus 7 and live on Lynn, Morgandee, Seth, Peach or Berry the bus pickup/drop off will be at Cherry and the west end of your street. We will do this until further notice. Thank you for your support of Weatherford Public Schools!

Burcham Elementary's Class Group Pictures will be on Thursday, February 22. Be looking for a white envelope to order a class picture. Pictures are $12 each. Please send money by this Thursday to be able to order.

Reminder: No School this Monday, February 19. Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled from 12-7 PM.

This is a reminder that students do not report to school on Friday, February 16 and Monday, February 19. Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Monday the 19th between the hours of 12pm-7pm. Individual school sites and teachers will share more information and details throughout the week. Weatherford Public Schools will have a late start tomorrow Monday, February 12. Classes will begin at 10am with doors opening at 9:30. Buses will run normal routes starting at 8am.

Note: Weatherford Public Schools will NOT be accepting any Valentine related deliveries of items to the school sites on Valentine's Day for students or staff.

Youth Cheer Clinic participants! There has been an update to the basketball times for tonight’s games. The varsity girls game will start at 6:00pm not 6:30pm. The youth cheer participants will have their performance during halftime of the varsity girls game. Please remember to have your child wear their youth cheer shirt, black shorts/leggings/sweats and tennis shoes. Pre-k through 1st grade will meet up at the upstairs breezeway/staircase on the northeast side of the gym and the 2nd through 6th grade will meet at the southwest breezeway/staircase. Please head to the designated location 2 minutes before halftime.
