Join us for a meet-and-greet with our incoming superintendent, Mark Harmon!
This event will be held at Stafford Elementary on Wednesday, April 3 from 3:45PM to 5:30 PM. This will be an excellent opportunity for our community to personally greet and welcome Mr. Harmon as he prepares to join our district on July 1, 2024.
It is a come-and-go affair, so drop by at your convenience to extend a warm welcome and enjoy some refreshments.

REMINDER: We need all items for your child’s themed class basket turned in to your child’s teacher by this Thursday, March 28th. Each classroom has a decorated basket filled with items all centered around a theme. These baskets will be on display the night of the Carnival and auctioned off to the highest bidder. The Basket Auction has been a fun and successful way for each child to donate in a small way to a BIG project. We will use the funds we receive for our Basket Auction to purchase technology, general educational supplies, and equipment for Burcham Elementary. The Carnival is Thursday, April 11th. The Basket Auction begins at 7:30 PM.
Please join us at Lt. General Thomas P. Stafford Elementary on Wednesday, April 3 between 3:45 PM and 5:30 PM for an informal meet-and-greet with Mark Harmon. Mr. Harmon has been selected to serve as superintendent of schools and will begin his tenure on July 1, 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity for our staff and community members to connect with our incoming superintendent.
Be on the lookout for your child's Spring Individual Picture Proofs!! They are going home this week! Please have your order forms turned in by Wednesday, April 3rd if you wish to order.
Lost and Found is overflowing at Burcham. Please stop by the school anytime this week and take a look. All items will be donated next week.

Weatherford Public Schools will have an early release TOMORROW, Thursday, March 7. Buses will start routes at 2:00 PM, approximately one hour earlier than usual. This adjustment will allow WPS staff to attend the State Basketball Tournament and cheer on our Weatherford Eagle basketball team. Additionally, we would like to remind you that there will be no school on Friday, March 8th, as per the school calendar.

If you ride bus 7 and live on Lynn, Morgandee, Seth, Peach or Berry the bus pickup/drop off will be at Cherry and the west end of your street. We will do this until further notice. Thank you for your support of Weatherford Public Schools!
