BURCHAM

Hello! My name is Sarah Barnwell. I am so excited for our year together at Burcham Elementary. We will work really hard together and have a ton of fun in the process. I Hope you are as excited as I am. In order to get to know me better, here is a little about myself:

I was born and raised in Weatherford, Oklahoma and actually attend Burcham Elementary for Kindergarten and 1st grade. I attended college at SWOSU and graduated in 2006 with my bachelors degree in science. I have certifications in elementary and early childhood education. I am beginning my 16th year of teaching 1st grade. I taught 1 year in Tulsa, 4 years in Yukon, and I am beginning my 11th year in Weatherford. 

Mr. Barnwell and I were married in 2009. We are blessed with 3 children, Lilyanne who is 10 years old, Max, who is 5, and Emily (Emi) is 3 years old. As you can tell, there is always an adventure going on at our house. 

I love my family! Mr. Barnwell is the service manager at Cummins Auto Group in Weatherford at the Dodge store. Our daughter, Lilyanne, is a sweet and caring 10 year old who enjoys art, books and singing. She is a 5th grader at West Elementary. Max is my wild child, momma’s boy. He is in Kindergarten this year. He loves running and yelling, animals and sharks. Emi is my precious soul who has already learned to roll with the punches in this family.  We have 2 cats named Charlie and Kiki Cuddles (can you tell which one was named by my kids ;-). We enjoy taking walks as a family, reading together, and listening to music.
